At Jack Taylor, we're proud of our dedicated team of 30+ professionals who work tirelessly to bring you the freshest, highest-quality seafood products.
Our team is our greatest asset, and we're committed to providing a safe, supportive, and inclusive work environment. From purchasing to the final pack, every fish is checked throughout the process in adherence to our HACCP plan. Each member has been trained on food hygiene & basic hygiene practices to ensure our product is kept to the quality our customers deserve.

Matthew Rutter | Managing Director
With over 20 years experience in the industry, Matthew has helped lead the team through a pandemic and the uncertainty of Brexit.

Owen Rutter | Operations Manager
Started at Jack Taylor as soon as he left education and hasn’t looked back. His infectious enthusiasm spreads throughout the company. A fantastic problem solver who takes everything in his stride.

Weronika Domaszewicz | Technical Manager
Weronika has successfully helped the company attain SALSA accreditation and is currently looking at other accreditations to enhance the company’s reputation. Due to Weronika’s people skills she has helped the company drive higher standards throughout the process.

James Houston | Production Supervisor
“Jim” has been in and out the industry for over 40 years. There isn’t a seafood process in which Jim hasn’t had experience in. Jim has demonstrated to have a keen eye for quality and making sure the production flow minimises the labour cost.

Kenny Hendry | Fish Buyer
Kenny has been in the industry for over 40 years. Highly skilled buyer that is in control for over £2 million of our annual purchases. Kenny’s astute buying style has allowed the company to progress over the years.

The Filleters
All of the whitefish processed is hand cut by our fantastic 14 man filleting team. The team has shown a willingness to adapt over the years due to new customer specifications which has allowed the company to grow and develop our product range. Hand filleting is truly an art and we’re lucky to have the best artists in the industry.

Viktors Selickis | Intake Leader
Viktors has been with the company for almost 10 year. We have yet to see Viktors in a bad mood, no matter how busy we are or how big the problem is, Viktors carries out his duties with a smile on his face.

Marius Lagunavicius | Dispatch Leader
“Mario” recently joined the team having worked in the industry for a number of years. During this period Mario has been excellent working under constant pressure, ensuring the trucks are loaded and goods delivered on time to clients.

Julie Auld | Packing Specialist
Julie has been with the company for over 5 years and is a valuable member of the team. Julie’s accuracy to packing the boxes to the required kg prior to weighing is astonishing.

Ian Strachan | Quality Control Specialist
With his wealth of experience and positive attitude, Ian has proved to be a valuable member of the team. Ian and Weronika work well together ensuring that the required standards and HACCP plan are adhered to.

Jenna Masson | Administrative Assistant
Jenna has been with the company for almost 10 years. Jenna takes care of all the company’s reporting, making sure the weekly profit and loss and daily yields are reported to Management.

Lisa Marie Buchan | Administrative Assistant:
Lisa Marie started with the company 5 years ago. Due to Brexit Lisa Marie’s role was adapted, focusing on making sure all documents are correct for shipping our products over seas.

Marion has been with the company for over a year now and has proved to be a valuable asset. Ensuring all suppliers are paid on time and having a helping hand with reporting and export documentation.
